Hi, welcome to my site devoted to designing fashion for myself and hopefully other people! I've just
started sewing and hope to teach myself as much as I can before taking classes and developing my skills. I'll post pictures
and step by step directions for different projects. Sometimes the task of making a simple skirt seems daunting, but I have
conquered the patterns and so can you! Don't get discouraged. A wise seamstress told me "If you can read, you can sew," I'm
going to keep doing just that... reading and sewing! Have fun and good luck on all your future sewing projects.
I've been working really hard on some of my own projects. I am currently a first year student at
a liberal arts college and plan to double major in English and Art. I will post my own sewing experiences up here as well
as my final products. Hopefully I'll be able to run my own business, design my own clothes and couture gowns. Wish me luck,
